On Sunday I got a bit obsessed with amigurumi. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong before and now I can't wait to make tons of adorable little creatures!
I am really excited about amigurumi at the moment and I have a cute idea that I want to try out! I think I should be able to make my own pattern by now...2 days is enough time, right? :)
ps. isn't Ivan cute? (not crochet related...but from the same day)
I can't wait to see what you make!ReplyDelete
I can make a granny square and that it. I can't even crochet in a straight line. It's okay, though. I've accepted that it's just not my craft. :)
Have a great day!
Can't wait to see more! Amigurumi is so much fun to make! I made a plethora of amineko cats when I first learned to read the charts.ReplyDelete
So fun! Can't wait to see how the turn out. :)ReplyDelete

amigurumi is a very niteresting craft i have to admit. few weeks ago i had a swap with an amigurumi artist Rowan and I got a great doll which was sooo similar to me!! Here is a link to her blog - go and visit, and look at her lovely dolls!! :D http://out-of-the-frame.blogspot.com/ReplyDelete

I love that moment when you work out where you went wrong ;) I think there is something in the water because I have been crocheting like a made woman lately as well.. Can't wait to see more xReplyDelete

Oh, fun! I've been meaning to try for a long time, but it sounds like I'm in the same boat - the enough-of-this-I-want-to-make-my-own-stuffed-guy boat! :) Can't wait to see this all done!ReplyDelete
I a absolutely infatuated with the color of your hair right now, Elycia!ReplyDelete
I wish I could crochet, but being left handed means I fumble every time my grandma tries to teach me. I can't wait to see what you come up with :)
You're so cute. I love that you are so into Ivan that you post his picture and say he's cute. I do that with Lance sometimes :DReplyDelete
Oh, cool! I do love that last picture, and I can't wait to see more of what your can make! Oh, and is amigurumi kind of like origami for yarn? just curious :)ReplyDelete
Oh I love amigurumi and cannot wait to see what you've made. I've been in the mood for crochet recently too, it must be an end of summer feeling.ReplyDelete
I have a weird memory that you crochet in a special way, like your fingers do what knitters fingers do. Does that make sense? Did I dream this? If not, can you do a video on how you do it because if I crochet for a while my wrists hurt so I'd love to try out different techniques but can't think of any!
Ooo cant wait to see them!ReplyDelete
Amigurumi are such cute little things. My first crochet projects were all amigurumi... I'm looking forward to see your finished project (I hope you plan to share some pics?).ReplyDelete
lorna, yes!! haha, that was from my first video i think :) good memory! today I tried to film a video with some amigurumi instructions but it was a major fail...i need to try again another day.ReplyDelete
You're awesome! Lately I've really been wishing I could crochet anything other than a basic scarf! I'm jealous of your amazing talent. <3 Can't wait to see what you create!ReplyDelete
