I had been eyeing the A Beautiful Mess for ModCloth collection ever since it was announced so I was super excited when I was asked if I would like to receive something from it to style. I chose what is now probably the most versatile piece of clothing in my closet. Elsie did a really great job designing this collection and this dress is definitely the thing that I have been reaching for in my closet most often now. It is super comfy, a great length, nice material and the little detail on the front just makes it perfect!

I just can't help matching things to my hair which is why I picked out these tights. They are the same kind of purpley pink as my hair, just in a darker version (not anymore though, I changed my hair this weekend!). And of course I love green with pinks and purples.

Ivan and I had a great weekend visiting Kaylah and Kevin which included rollerskating and air hockey, quite possibly two of the funnest things ever. Today I am excited to get a ton of blog planning done. It is supposed to rain all week so I am going to take advantage of the yucky weather by staying inside, cleaning, blogging, photo editing, emailing and crocheting. Sounds pretty good to me!

  3. I don't usually comment, but had to say I love the way you always wear so much colour and you always look perfect without really being "matchy-matchy".

  4. Oh boy, I'm buckling down for the day and bracing against this weather! This outfit is a little ray of sunshine :). I hope the power doesn't get knocked out, but notl loses a giant old tree to high winds every time there's a big storm so I doubt we'll get by unscathed. Sigh.

  12. I was totally eyeing up that dress, but it was just a little bit out of my price range. You are so lucky getting it for free! It's definitely my favourite from their collaboration. It's just so pretty! You look gorgeous, love this mix of colours, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you have done with your hair xo
