Photos :: 365

First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who left me a thoughtful comment yesterday. It was a rough day but you guys really touched my heart with your kindness. Yes, 'I just said touched my heart' so you know I mean business. Thank you all so much and I'm sorry to anyone who is going through or has gone through losing an important family member.

Today I will get back to my regularly scheduled blogging with an update on my 365 project. Six days in and I haven't missed a day yet.
1/365: Pinny mid-yawn.
2/365: Our snowy backyard and grapevine.
3/365: I know I just took a Pinny photo but I couldn't resist her in her little cone. She doesn't mind it too much but she is pretty good at taking it off when we go out.
4/365: My new office is taking shape but a few days ago most of it was in the kitchen. Actually a lot of it is still in the kitchen but at least the blue bins have a new home.
5/365: On Saturday my mom chose photos of my Grama and I photographed & cropped them for a slideshow. This was one of my favourites. My Grama looks so snazzy!
6/365: Handsome Farva reading some Ikea instructions. He is so helpful.

Today I have plans with Andrea but I also have a headache that is making my head feel like it is going to explode so cross your fingers for me that it goes away quickly!

Have a great Monday everyone.

  2. i have already failed at my own 365 project by not remembering to start it :(...maybe i will just start it today to be different.

so nice that farva reads the directions first, my cats never read directions first...they just plunge right into shelf building w/ no regard to the proper order of things.

    1. Isn't it totally annoying when your kitties think they are too smart for directions? They always end up having to start over!

  4. Ooooowww I'm so sorry for kitties when they have surgeries and they need to keep that awful cone on their neck! :((( My little cat has an area on her neck where she always scratches her hairs off and we need to put a bandage that goes all around her body to keep her from scratching herself. It's so sad and she looks so miserable when we do it! Poor little thing! Your pictures are amazing anyway. I love them, they make me dream! :D

  6. That photograph of your Grama is great! I love finding photos of my lost loved ones in classic fashion - my mum was a child of the sixties so it's great finding photos of her! For Christmas my dad made a DVD for each of my siblings and I, which contained some very brief footage of their wedding day in 1967 - my mum looked so classically sixties!

Well done and good luck with your Project 365 - I was half-heartedly joining in this year but I have already missed two days. Boo!

  10. Is your Grama Irish? Or was she in Ireland {or the UK} when this photo was taken? There looks to be gorse in the background, and if that's not an Irish wall, then I don't know what is.

Such a wonderful way to celebrate her. She sure has sass.

    1. My Grama's parents came from England and I know she did visit there at one point. It's possible that could have been Ireland! You sound like you know your stuff!

  18. What lovely photos - completing a 365 is tough work but I am sure you can do it. I love the photo of your grandma - she surely had style too - her orange bag is so fun, just like your style!
