Photos :: 365

119/365 :: Monthly bloodwork. When I found out I was pregnant I also found out I had hypothyroid so I've been having my blood taken monthly to make sure everything stays in a good range. Luckily it has been! I used to have a terrible time when I was having blood taken (I even passed out once) but now it is no big deal.
120/365 :: Outtake from my outfit photos. I can't wait to be able to do something about my roots. They are driving me up the wall!
121/365 :: I was pruning the grapevine in the backyard and this little butthead was yelling at me to let him come outside. We have been taking Farva and Pinny out on their leashes a lot and they love it. Yesterday we were sitting on the porch and even Anakin joined us for a while!
122/365 :: Andrea came over for a visit and I had to take a photo of the pretty colours in her outfit. Andrea posted some outfit photos so check it out if you would like to see more than just her torso!
123/365 :: Blue Jays game! I'm not a huge sports fan but we definitely had fun at the game.
124/365 :: Just some books sitting on the piano. They actually have some pretty neat stuff in them.
125/365 :: Sunday was another beautiful day. I pulled dandelions and Ivan made his first brew of the year!

It looks like another great day so I will be pulling some more dandelions. Yesterday I got all the ones that were blooming in the front yard but I'm expecting some more to pop up today. The backyard is another story...there are too many out there. I think I will tackle the a bit at a time.

Did everyone have a good weekend?

  3. I recently found out that I have hypothyroidism, as well! The bloodwork is a b, but it feels really good to get the all-clear.
Also I love, love, love that olive-colored cardigan.

    1. Yeah, the worst part for me is having to wait for a long time in the waiting room to get my bloodwork done. The place close to my house is always so busy!

  8. Neat! How did you get your cats to take to being on leashes? My family always had cats growing up but if we ever tried to get them to tolerate a leash it didn't even come close to working! I don't currently have any cats, but it would be great to know for future reference. =)

    1. We started Farva and Pinny on their leashes when they were really young. With Pinny though we took a long break in between the first and second time we took her out. I think if they love going outside enough they will get used to the leash. We didn't practice with it in the house or anything, just threw it on them and took them out so that they knew that the leash is for something fun. Farva gets excited if he hears his leash jingle!
I think it can depend on the cat though because Anakin doesn't really like his leash and to him it isn't worth it to go outside. He's a pretty big chicken though so I can let him out on the porch without his leash, leave the door open a bit and he will run back in if he gets spooked.
      Wow, that got long!

  9. As a person who doesn't dye their hair, but lives vicariously through yours....
I never even thought about how you wouldn't be able to do it during your pregnancy!

    Stay strong, my friend.
    I'm pulling for you!

  11. Ah hypothyroid... that's what I was diagnosed with a couple of months ago. I heard it can go wacky during pregnancy though.
