Do those still count as dioramas?? The painted walls that look like they should end miles away, the little bits of shrubs, all the animals positioned as realistically as possible.. Totally love it. I would love to do that kind of work some day, though I'm sure there's not a big demand for it! Maybe after I retire :p

--Erin
Predictionspast.blogspot.ca Erin Gerofskyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05355517160851935785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3131616931748314522.post-29520182287198251322012-10-04T10:43:57.251-04:002012-10-04T10:43:57.251-04:00Haha, some of those faces are priceless. I really ...Haha, some of those faces are priceless. I really should get around to taking photos of the inside of my nearest museum, it has loads of Victorian (and older) taxidermy. I keep thinking it's so funny how so much of what's in America isn't very old, my local museum opened up in 1846, and that's a younger one! :D England's so full of old things.

Alli xxBuboe Pestishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13938556175069340454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3131616931748314522.post-29459059273457329422012-10-04T06:44:23.901-04:002012-10-04T06:44:23.901-04:00Oh it's the worst when you got to a great plac...Oh it's the worst when you got to a great place and there's not enough time to see everything. When we were in England we went to Kew Gardens and it was amazing, but we didn't even see half of it. We really want to go back to spend a whole day there, but there wasn't any time in the end.Natashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09104321041602132083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3131616931748314522.post-13691746214348536642012-10-04T00:06:39.631-04:002012-10-04T00:06:39.631-04:00that last photo of the lions is slightly heartbrea...that last photo of the lions is slightly heartbreaking that the cubs died so young! but these pictures are all so beautiful! i hope i can go there some day!Mariahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05180734860848835272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3131616931748314522.post-82011705467495076612012-10-03T16:57:40.390-04:002012-10-03T16:57:40.390-04:00Only an 1.5hr? When I was growing up, one of our neighbors was a taxidermist and had a basement full of animals... creepy! It's a shame you didn't get to see more though, they should really warn you before you go in if you are buying a ticket that you won't have time to see everything. Something similar happened to me at a museum here but they were nice enough to let us in the next day as well free of charge as we had barely seen a quarter of what was on show. I wish I got to spend more time in the museums around me, but with 2 dogs it's difficult to find a full day to explore them xoAlice, Pretty Confusedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05373293615163216038noreply@blogger.com
