how does your garden grow?

a few of the things we're growing. i don't like that cactus plant because the little needles are so hard to get out if they get stuck in your skin...but it looks beautiful when it flowers. does anyone else have a garden this year?

i edited the photos using photoshop actions after reading this blog post by leigh-ann. check it out! so useful!

ps. the cool kids support local post will be up eventually. i borrowed my mom's little camera to take to the restaurant and it is holding my photos hostage, haha. i can't find the cable!

  3. oh my...try growing potatoes, zucchini, broccoli, cabbage, tomatoes, green beans, sweet peas, colloribi, peppers, cauliflower, kiwi, blue berries, strawberries, lettuce, spinach, water melon, cantaloupe...needless to say we have very little grass in our back yard!

All those things do well though...its something to think about!!

  6. I don't have anything planted outside this year, but I did finally get my violets to flower again! that's been a big accomplishment in these parts. What actions did you use, I was considering buying the $30 set LA talked about...
