thrifting is beautiful

well, it was on Saturday. After the cat show (which was at the Ancaster Fairgrounds) we popped into the Value Village in Waterdown. This was how they had their books organized! By colour! I seriously freaked out about how pretty it was. I took a bunch of photos and eventually this lady looking at books across from these started giving me strange looks, haha.

love, elycia

  17. The Value Village in Brantford had their books like that for a while. It is super nice to look at however, it's impossible to find anything.

  18. That lady doesn't know beauty when she sees it if she gave you dirty looks. I would have been posing next to them and embarrassing the boyfriend :)

  20. I'm accustomed to the strange looks while snapping photos at thrift stores and yard sales :) Comes with the territory of blogging.

I love the books organized by color here, too! I've seen it for clothes in thrift stores, but not books.

  23. I like it! When I worked at VV we would try and sort by genre. I would have much preferred by colour. Would have saved me a lot of time!
