what i wore

this is what i wore to the cat show last weekend. i got a really positive response from the cats ;)

it was not warm out...but i wanted to show you my dress. i finally used one of my vintage patterns and made it! i used thrifted fabric and a thrifted pattern so it was realllly cheap to make. i love it! i want to make more!

have you made anything lately?

& the collar is so cute & fun (:

Did you save the pattern to make more of these?
Because it would look so cute with a floral fabric for spring/summer!

michelle, yes i did use corduroy. not the best spring fabric...but a good early spring in ontario fabric. brrrr. it is supposed to snow this week! grumble.

  21. Yes! I've always heard that cats respond well to peter pan collars. Glad to hear it's true!

I have about 3 (okay 6) patterns in my sewing room just begging to be made into something. I've never made a dress from a pattern so I'm totally nervous. I signed up for Home Ec and I think there's a section in there about sewing from patterns. Fingers crossed!
