thrift find > flower brooches

I love enamel floral brooches so much. I have been on the lookout for them for such a long time and finally found some on a quickie thrift trip last week. I was sooo excited! I grabbed them as fast as I could before anyone else snatched them away. Ok, really that was unnecessary because I'm pretty sure no one else in the store at the time was the least bit interested in them. Oh well, better safe than sorry!

I have a bunch of things that I get really happy about finding. What do you get excited about while thrifting!

  1. Those are super cute and fun! I get excited about thrifting in general. Doesn't take much. ;] But I really love to find drive-in movie/old Hollywood stuff.

  3. The left one is especially super pretty!
I get excited about a lot of things, but mostly about old camera's and vintage china. I don't know why, but I have a thing for those cute, kitchy flower teacups.

  10. Cute pins! I have a red, white, and blue one similar to those that I break out for the fourth of July. I get excited about any thrifting I do. As long as I come away with something I'd been wanting or something unique, then it was successful!

  11. paint by numbers...those are impossible to come by in Utah, which is frustrating because I feel like every thrifter blogger in the universe has found at least 5. Laaaaame!

  12. Enid Collins bags. I've only found 2 so far, but I always hunt through the purses at every thrift store.

  13. I love long, heavy vintage skirts and plates. Something about the faded, muted colors of a vintage plate or mug just gets my blood pumping and I have to have it.

And I've got a pretty good collection of vintage suitcases building up, as well.
