thrifting video!

Kaylah and I have been bursting with excitement to share this thrifting video that we shot on the weekend. I'm so glad we ended up doing it and we need to send out a special thanks to our guys for helping film and edit this little project. We had a really fun Saturday evening putting all the clips together which may have included me talking like a bossy video editor and all of us almost falling asleep sitting up by the end of it all.

Ok, ok, I'll stop blabbering. Let's be serious though, you probably aren't reading any of this and just skipped directly to the video.

Hope you loved it! Kaylah and I can't wait to make more fun videos next time we get together!

  7. Such a super cute video! Now I can't wait to go thrifting on my day off on Monday! Eeee!
Do they have any decent stores in Hamilton? My bf was living there last year and he said the Value Village on the mountain was pretty decent? We live in Toronto now! :)

    1. I live right near the VV on the mountain and it is pretty good. I'm on the hunt as well to find some good ones in the area that aren't Value Village. There is a Bibles for MIssions one near our place that i need to check out. Also there is a Salvation Army close by that is good sometimes.

  8. Hey Elycia!
So I've posted this over on Kaylah's blog as well, but uh, I think that Kaylah and Kevin should totally come and visit in Canada for two reasons. Firstly, so that you can make a video like this and reveal to me awesome thrift spots in my (still-fairly-new) neck of the woods. Secondly, you should all come in to Niagara-on-the-Lake, and do some antique shopping with me! It's crazy cute here in the spring/summer. Also all of the rich retirees sell of all their amazing goodies in to-die-for garage sales. I think we should do this up, and do it up right!
