:: head to toe ::
scarf :: thrifted
glasses :: Warby Parker
sweater :: H&M (patches added by me)
necklace :: c/o Dapper Toad
dress :: Old Navy
tights :: Achilles' Zeal Tights c/o ModCloth
shoes :: Blowfish

I really want to use this dress as a pattern to make a bunch more dresses like it in different colours and fabrics. It is so comfy! Just ignore those silly wrinkles on the back of the dress. I didn't realize they were there until I saw the photo. Not that I am the best about getting rid of wrinkles anyways...ironing is overrated. Actually we have a steamer, so I don't have a good excuse for having wrinkles.

These tights are my new favourite. I love that they are really neutral but then have that little heart at the back. They are sheer but not as fragile as most sheer tights I own.

It seems like I am having a few internet issues this morning so this took forever to post because I had to figure out what the heck was wrong. It seems to be working now and that's good because I have a full day on interneting ahead of me.

  3. Welllll, this just reminded me I have a lovely sweater in my closet with only one heart elbow patch. I really need to get around to finishing that, lop-sided is not in this season!

    Happy Halloween Elycia!

  8. I love the dress. You could totally use it as a pattern for other dresses - it looks like it has a pretty simple construction. You will let us know if you try to make your own version, right?

  9. I've been wanting a dress from Old Navy to make patterns from. Their sale is just too good to pass up. Love the tights too!

  12. I adore your little elbow pads. I have been thinking about putting some on my cardigans. I have about 20 cardigans, so I figure at least a few of those could use a little update. Also, that dress fits you like a dream. I definitely agree with the plan to use it as a pattern. I can definitely see you in a floral patterned version. :)

  15. I was thinking as I scrolled down the photos that this looks like pretty much the perfect dress, and when I saw it's an Old Navy, I wondered if it's that newish cap sleeve dress that comes with a belt? I've been eyeing that one.

    1. It does come with a belt but the sleeves aren't really capped. It is just sleeveless...but maybe a bit wider than normal? If that makes sense!
