Last week we moved some things out of my office and bought a new shelf for the closet. As I've mentioned before, things are still all over the place so my job for today is to put things in order. I think I need one more shelf to hold books but other than that I should be able to get this room in order today.  I am excited to get it organized and start working from there again instead of sitting cross-legged in front of the coffee table like I am right now.

Ok, here I go! Have a good Tuesday everyone.

  2. There you go again, motivating me to get my butt in gear. Seeing these photos and some on my friend's blog about studio spaces make me realize I really need to get mine cleaned up.

  6. I always love that you sometimes show clutter, something that is rarely shown by bloggers. But I also find it inspiring that you're doing something about it. Maybe I should get my butt into gear as well this week;)

    Anyway, good luck!

  7. what kind of yarn are you using on your granny square blanket? it looks gorgeous! ive recently made two blankets for christmas presents and am now working on a third blanket for my mom. i haven't been able to post them yet because we havent been able to get out to Boston to give them to my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. my mother-in-law apparently stalks my blog - so.. no pictures for anyone else yet! i made mine all one really large square- but i want to make one all little squares sewn together when i finally get around to making one for us!

    1. Hi Trisha!

Most of the yarn I have been using for that blanket is Impeccable Loops & Threads but some of it is Red Heart I think. Good for you for finishing two for Christmas! I really need to get my butt in gear to finish this one.

    2. I use a lot of Red Hart too - its pretty decent and its affordable! I was looking at this gorgeous blanket this one girl had made- and she linked to the yarn and it was 20$ a skein! And the blanket called for over 40 skeins!!! I'm like holy mother!!!!!!

  12. If my clutter was that pretty I'd never tidy up, especially the blanket. Good luck getting everything organised - it'll feel great once you've finished :)

  13. I'm in the same position...my craft room is all boxes and I've lived here over 2 months now >.< As soon as I get back from vacation I'm investing in shelving and getting to it! Can't wait to see how yours looks when it's done! :D
