Photos :: 365

91/365 :: I love when my cats sit like this. It is just the silliest.
92/365 :: Farva keeping an eye on Pinny to make sure she doesn't get out of line. Pinny is my only kitty that tries to eat my yarn so she has to be supervised.
93/365 :: The messy top of my desk. Well, not really messy, just cluttered.
94/365 :: I wore all the colours on this day. There were none left for anyone else.
95/365 :: I got something really exciting in the mail on Friday. I will show you more of this soon!
96/365 :: Some of you might remember that Farva loves going for walks. He likes to roll around on the ground and get himself nice and dusty first. Pinny likes going out too but there was too much action on the street that day and it made her nervous so she went back inside quickly.
97/365 :: Sunday was a beautiful day! It was super windy but not cold so I was very happy.

I'm almost at 100 photos so far this year! The year is flying by (I keep saying that) and I am so happy that I decided to do a 365.

I hope everyone had a good weekend and that you got some beautiful weather. Have a good day!

    1. Thank you! One has a slot for coins like a bank and the other one is exactly the same except no hole.

  2. I love that first photo! One of my dogs sits like that and I think it is absolutely hilarious, so cute. Your desk is lovely, mine is just a mess of bits of paper, thread, books and prints I haven't put up yet. I don't think it is even usable. Those ice cream cones are amazing xo

I can't believe that it's day 98 of my Project 365 today too, the year really has flown.
Always look forward to seeing your 365 updates :)

    Best Wishes, Danielle.

  4. I love looking at your 365 day project. Your cats are too cute. ^.^ Did you have any problems getting the harness on your kitties? I love the idea of taking your cat for a walk. We adopted ours and she is 6 years old now (probably too old to get her to wear a harness), but if we ever get a kitten we will have to try this. ;)

    1. Thank you! Nope, Farva loves having his harness put on because he loves going out so much. Pinny and Anakin will put it on easily too.

  5. i love that you take your kitties on walks! my husband won't let me do it because we live on a really busy street and it makes him too nervous. farva looks so cute!
have your cats been acting weird since you've been pregnant? we're talking about having a baby and that has been making me nervous. I've heard that they can get weird and start marking things up.

    1. No, they haven't changed at all. I have heard stories about cats acting weird (in good ways and bad) when their owner gets pregnant...although those have all been random internet stories and it has never happened to someone I know. I don't know if it's a real thing or not. I'm interested to see how they react once the baby is here though!

    2. My son is a toddler now and our cat has always been really patient with him. I don't think she cared too much when he was little, sometimes she would snuggle next to him if he was laying on me. We brought home a blankie and clothing item from the hospital first so she could smell his scent. I'm not sure if it helped or not. Now that he is a toddler she can be surprisingly patient, he is usually good and gentle but there are moments when she wants to be alone or is fussy. He is still learning how to read cat signals, (the leave me alone now eye glare or don't rub my belly ever) :P she has bitten him a few times but never enough to hurt him and it is usually when he is not being gentle with her and she has given him cat warnings to leave her alone. Anyways, usually they are very good with each other and gentle. She has never marked/ peed on things she shouldn't but I've heard that is more common in male cats. (sorry for the book)

    3. Also our cat was really snuggly with me when I was in labour. I think she kinda knew. She would also sit next to me when I was laboring in our bath tub. Sweet kitty.

    4. Oh yeah, I should also mention that all of our cats are neutered/spayed so that might make a difference.

  7. I LOVE that your cat goes for walks! I've never owned a cat, but if I did, I would want to take it for walks. :)

  8. I love the idea of walking cats who love the outdoors! My sister is the cat lover of my family, and her outdoor-loving kitty went outside for the last time a few months ago and never returned. I would be a worried mom if I had a cat go outside and I couldn't supervise. It's just not safe in my mind! (Not that most cats can't handle themselves...)

  9. When I try to walk my cats, I clean the floor with them. They hate when I put the leash. They like to explore, free ... and without me. I'm sick of saying this, next cat I'll have it will walk with me in the street since little.

It's so funny that you did 365 in the year that you are pregnant :)

I have a question - Can you dye your hair during pregnancy?

    1. I have been using Punky Colours during my pregnancy. It's just a stain so I feel comfortable with it. I haven't bleached though. Everyone will tell you something different about whether you can dye your hair while pregnant. I would say ask your doctor/midwife and do what you are comfortable with.
