holly headband video tutorial

so...i am diving into the world of video blogs, hehe.

the lovely Michelle over at Scissor Quirk asked me to participate in her blog party that is going on right now so i offered up a few headbands for a giveaway.

i hadn't actually made the holly headband yet so when it came time to do so i decided to turn it into a video tutorial!

so here it is...complete with some beach boys tunes. would christmas music have been more appropriate? maybe...but i love the beach boys.
if you feel like hanging out for 11 minutes (i know that's long) grab some felt, embroidery thread, needles, scissors and yarn and click below :)

holiday headband tutorial from love elycia on Vimeo.

*please note...the blog party is today...not yesterday, haha*
*another note...if you can't crochet, you can make a braided band...you'll see what i'm talking about, haha.*

love, elycia

and I crochet weird too. I dont know what you would call the way i do but I hold my hands all wrong and I hold it in the wrong hand. I dont do well crocheting more that one line since I hold it wrong... and I agree you should completely make more videos. i was looking for an accent but since Im in northern minnesota we probably sound similar!

  32. This is awesome. I am always curious what bloggers voices sound like, and I kind of started to laugh because I always expect an accent but since we are both Canadian when I heard you, I heard no accent haha!

Ps. your headband is great. I made something like it the other day to wear to a craft sale I was selling things at. I did mine like mistletoe though with white berries! Very cute!
