I'm super jealous about that sushi place you talked about. The town where I live is so NOT vegan-friendly! (Farm-town, Pennsylvania = ew) There is one Japanese hibachi restaurant nearby that has a few vegan sushi options (like, 3). My favorite is Sweet Potato Tempura...Mmmm!

I've never had Vegan sushi. I will certainly have to try it. I'm not a terribly big fan of meat -although I'm not a vegetarian it certainly sounds like something I could enjoy!
I would also love to just do what I love to do all day! Not weird or strange at all!
