where i live - roma pizza

i was talking to my girl thursday and charity on twitter new years eve about the wonders of roma pizza. i said i had to do a post about it. then you'll never believe it...one of our friends who came over that night brought a box of roma pizza! actually...if you know anything about stoney creek/roma pizza this is not weird at all. everyone knows it's not a party until the roma pizza arrives.
so here are the goods.
what's that you say? this isn't pizza? where's the cheese? trust me, it absolutely is pizza and it does not need cheese. the bread and sauce combo is soooo yummy, i just know you would love it.
i've come across a few people who like to heat their roma pizza in the oven. not me, straight out of the box is perfection.

if you grew up in stoney creek you probably grew up with Roma Bakery and roma pizza. if you didn't, well, i'm very sorry for your loss. if you ever find yourself in my neck of the woods let's have a roma pizza date!

has anyone had roma pizza? did you love it?

ps. i plan to start sharing more posts like this about where i live. unfortunately they won't all be pizza related but i think it will be fun to show you a bit about my area.

  10. I miss Roma pizza/Roma Bakery so much :(
But I saw on their website that they're expanding to Mississauga/Toronto grocery stores.

I might make Dan drive me down to Stoney Creek to get some.

  14. I LOVE IT!!! I don't know this particular pizza place, but I've had another of the best of pizzas in Italy. They don't need to load it up with toppings and cheese, it's just sooo good as it is!!!
