what i'm working on...

hi,

I thought I  would start doing a weekly feature about what projects I am working on. I like to see what people are up to so maybe you would like to see what I'm working away on.

You have probably heard me mention that I'm working on aprons. Well...here are some photos of my work in progress.

I really like the colours the ladies from Cake and Loaf picked. We're doing kind of a barter thing with the aprons: I make them aprons, they make the cake & cupcakes for the wedding. Sweet deal (pun intended).  I will share a finished apron photo another time :)

What are you working on?

love, elycia

Right now I'm working on illustrator on some cute drawings. I had a long break from it after graduation, but I'm loving it again!
Also, so cute plushies! And I have a huuuge bookmark folder full of things I want to do!
Sometimes there aren't enough hours in the day!

  12. That's such a great idea to trade for wedding services and it sounds like all parties will be justly satisfied with their part of the bargain - yay for handmade trades!

As for what projects - I am counting down the hours to my eldest punk's 6th birthday party to be held at home this weekend. I have been busy (and still am) all week making costumes, props, craft activities, thank you gifts and baking/prepping food. I've enjoyed doing it, but will be glad when it's all over so I can get on with other projects that are in the pipeline... As you can imagine, it's all action over here!

  17. Super cute colors. I've made a couple aprons before as gifts. They are relatively simple and just so much fun. Every cook or baker needs one! Especially a handmade one. Well done!!
