wedding

Nothing super exciting wedding wise this week. I addressed a bunch of envelopes and mailed the US invites. Exciting? Well, kind of, our invitations are pretty cute and we have fun bright "return envelopes".
We didn't want to spend a ton of money on invitations but there were enough older people being invited that we didn't feel comfortable doing it completely online via email or a website. So, we designed our own invitations and rsvp cards and had them printed at Staples. We printed the invites on postcards and the rsvp cards on business cards. It probably cost around $100 to print a bit more than we needed to send out. We are really happy with the result!

Today we're off to a few wedding errands. Possibly get our wedding bands, stamps, pots for our herbs. Hopfully next week I'll show you some of the decorations we will be making. Have a great Saturday!

  4. I love your invitations. I think it's awesome you designed them yourself. Are those envelopes different colors on the inside or is there something in them? Either way..they look great :)
