mini tutorial :: easy "headbands"

I will be the first to admit that I am a little ric-rac crazy at the moment. It is just so cute and squiggly! Here is a super simple way to use ric-rac as a hair accessory.
So simple right!? Let the excess ric-rac hang in your ponytail, tuck it in, braid it into your hair or wrap your hair into a bun. You can really do this with any bit of anything you have laying around: yarn, fabric scraps, lace, ribbon. Here is an example of a lacy ribbon.
I love ponytails in hot weather and this is just a simple way of making them a bit cuter! Great success.

  8. so awesome! I tend to wear my hair in a ponytail all the time because i'm too lazy to fix it up- this is perfect for a cuter do when i'm running late! Love it!
