photos :: diana f+

While Ivan and I were visiting Kaylah and Kevin we took a bunch of film photos together. Here are my favourites from the ones we took with my Diana F+ with the 35mm back.
I know, I know, photo overload. There were so many photos that I loved, even the ones that didn't turn out the way I wanted them to I ended up really liking. This was the first time I used this type of film (Lomography X-Pro Chrome 100 ISO given to me by my cousin) and I think my camera settings were a little off because most of the photos turned out lighter than I would have liked. I'm still into them though and I might try this film again.

  1. Ooh I just love the colours in these pictures, and I think the 'lightness' is pretty great as well.

  3. It just looks like you were having so much fun. I need to get my hands on some film cameras to play with. You're so lucky to have friends you can go out with and take rad photos with like this. So awesome.

    1. Thank you! They were supposed to be standing on my hand but again...unpredictable Diana photography sometimes results in happy accidents!

  11. Such awesome photos - I got a Diana F+ Dreamer for my birthday and am currently experimenting - I used redscale film though, and the first batch looked like I'd shot using night-vision goggles!

  12. I love the lightness and brightness of these ones. I especially like the one of you and Kaylah, the one of the 'boys' and the last one with Kaylah's rainbow hair flying in the wind.

  13. Beautiful photos Elycia! I am very jealous of your diana. I'm actually saving up for one right now... I love the nostalgic feeling of the photos, and how each one is a surprise when you get it developed. They are definitely a treasure to keep for years to come! :)

  14. I am a disgrace, I never use my Diana. I think I didn't have a very good experience with it at first. Where do you buy your film/get your pics developed?

    1. This film was given to me by my cousin who works at Lomography. Normally I just buy Kodak 400 ISO film from wherever. I got these developed at Shopper's DrugMart because it was walking distance from my house and they do it in an hour and give you a CD! :D
