I don't think I mentioned it but we got a ton of snow the day after Christmas and then another mini ton a few days later. The snow is still at the stage where it looks really pretty so I'm enjoying it for now.

Today I headed into the backyard and found a bunch of tiny tracks in the snow. I love finding tracks in the snow. Nothing can sneak around in our backyard unnoticed now! I am useless at identifying tracks so I couldn't tell you what any of them are. Well, except for the third set of tracks up there...those are me.

Today I am taking Bob Barker's advice and doing my part to help control the pet population. Pinny is getting spayed, the poor baby. I really hate leaving my cats at the vet but I know they will take good care of her and she will be home in no time.

In a little bit I am going to head out to drop off some thrift store donations and maybe take a little browse while I'm there.

I hope everyone has a good day.

    1. I miss Bob Barker!

Suprisingly I think I will keep this colour combo for a while. I am a chronic hair dyer so I normally have a really hard time keeping it one colour for very long but I love this so much it is here to stay for now.

  2. Brrr!! Those pics look chilly but awesome. Here in Arizona we don't get much (any) snow, so I'm a little jealous of your winter wonderland (sort of). ;)

    1. It is chilly!! A little snow is nice but I get sick of it pretty fast when it starts to look brown and yucky.

  6. This snow is gorgeous, there is something so satisfying about walking through untouched snow! I hope Pinny is ok at the vet. We've been talking about getting our two dogs spayed too, we've always planned on it but never quite got round to it over the past few months. They are both in heat at the moment though, and it is driving us and them mad. Never again xo

Being from much warmer places my whole life I don't want to live in it so much as play in it.

  13. I am very jealous, I wish it would snow here, we had so much snow 2 years ago, the kind where it is too deep to walk and nothing last year so really hoping for loads this year. I want to go sledging! They look like hoof prints to me, would deer be likely in your garden? X

  14. I like snow, but only if I can stay home from work and go for a walk like you did :)
Here in Belgium it doesn't snow that much, but when it does, the traffic is going nuts!

Aw little Pinny, hope everything goes well at the vet. I really like reading about Pinny, because round the time you got her last summer I also found an orange cat friend. Actually, I think they look a bit alike! Exept he is a mister :) His name is Milleken. You can see his photo here:
