Photos :: 365 (January 13 - 19. 2014)

13/365 :: I am really bad at sending out snail mail. I have something from a year ago that I haven't sent out yet. So, this year I made a goal to send at least one piece of mail each month. I have already sent a bunch of things in January and I'm looking forward to sending more.
14/365 :: Afternoon light on a silly kitty.
15/365 :: I am fairly certain that I could survive solely on baby smiles.
16/365 :: This is from the day that I was sick. At least I had a nice view.
17/365 :: As awesome as baby smiles are, this face is pretty great too.
18/365 :: Oh my, I can't...
19/365 :: Farva bean.

 Hi! Yes, I still exist. I kind of vanished from the internet for a week. Again. I keep thinking that I will blog more and then I feel like my days get so full that I just can't make time. I don't really know what else to say; I'm in major baby mode.

Since we last spoke I have been making tons of yummy meals from a raw cookbook that I was sent a few months ago. I will post more about it soon because it is seriously amazing. I have also changed my hair. I'm working towards getting back to my natural colour (on top anyways) and the first step got it quite a bit darker than it really is. It will fade though and hopefully I will be able to stop worrying about hair dye upkeep for now.

Well, that's all for now. I have a few 365 posts to catch up on as well as a few other things that I really want to blog about soon. Have a great day!

  1. Your little guy's eyelashes are pretty epic! My husband and I have really long lashes so our boy's eyelashes, in addition to his curly blond hair got him mistaken for a girl so many times. :)

  3. I am terrible at remembering to send things as well. I have an anniversary gift for my sister-in-law that still hasn't been sent since last May, yikes! It is one of my goals to send a letter to a different friend each month of the year too!

  4. I recently went through all my cards and notes, sorting out what I'd received, things I'd bought to decorate or send out, and cards that I'd written but never sent (there were more than a few!) so then this year when I sent out my New Years Cards—I sent out all the old notes with them, in big envelopes. No clue what most of them said but figured it would be fun for folks!

  5. I think everyone gets in modes where it's hard to get away from family and daily life. It's completely understandable. Your son is getting so big and is completely adorable! I love your shots! What kinda lens do you use?

    1. Yeah, definitely. Thank you! For almost all of the photos I use a 1.4/50mm lens. I love it!

    1. Yep! I really love that couch because it doesn't totally look like a cover.
