Projects :: 2014 Granny Square Project (Week 2)

Here are my week two granny squares.
I'm very happy that I was able to get three squares made this week. I found it helpful to choose my colours and then keep the yarn handy so that I could get in a few stitches here and there.

I already have the colours for my next square ready to go. I can't even tell you how happy it makes me to be making even this small bit of progress on this blanket.

I wrote down a few silly little goals for 2014 the other day. I will share them as I start to do them, I guess, instead of devoting a post to them because you already know some and really, there aren't that many.

  5. great colors! i love adding white to bright colors. i'm having a hard time doing 2 a week (i changed my goal from 1 a day to 2 a week so my blanket wouldn't be ridiculously huge) but now i can't stop lol maybe it will even out with time as i grow tired of them, but for now i'm having way too much fun :)

  7. Those colors are so great.
A coworker once tried to teach me granny squares on our lunch breaks for a week, and I never managed to turn out one that was square!

    1. Thanks! No, I've already sewn together a bunch of this blanket so it won't be in order.
