Photos :: 365

63/365 :: Since getting a functional oven I have been baking a lot. I made some chocolate chip cookies early last Monday.
64/365 :: Checking the lighting before filming my answering questions video.
65/365 :: Farva giving Pinny a "don't mess with me" look.
66/365 :: Two of my ladies.
67/365 :: Blueberries are such a gamble to buy because sometimes they are so delicious and other times they are soooo sour. These ones were perfect and the peaches were great too.
68/365 :: This year for Christmas, Ivan, my mom and I decided that instead of presents we would go away together for a weekend. We finally planned it and hopped across the border to Lewiston, NY for a few days. It was a lot of fun and the weather was beautiful!
69/365 :: We went to Orange Cat Coffee both Saturday and Sunday because their drinks are amazing! I am a little embarassed to admit that I couldn't figure out how the sign was an orange cat until the second day...right before we left.

I couldn't believe how beautiful it was out this weekend. I am even more ready for spring now. After we got home from Lewiston yesterday Ivan and I took Farva and Pinny outside on their leashes (Anakin is not into it) and then went for a real walk. I didn't even need a coat! Hurry up spring!

Have a good Monday!

  1. The cat took me awhile too! It's like those positive space / negative space puzzles. Is it an old lady or a young girl? Is it a cat or an orange circle? Hah!

  3. I couldn't figure out how it was a cat either! I had to stare for a solid 10 seconds.

  4. Love these pics, especially of the two kitties. I also have that same conundrum with blueberries. But how on EARTH did you get ripe peaches right now??? They are my favorite fruit in the world and by the time summer rolls around, I'm so desperate for good peaches that I go crazy! :)

  5. So lucky! Here in Portugal the weather is miserable!!! I love winter but this year i'm totally sick of it. So many rain! If this goes on like this, I'm gonna have gills soon. I want spring too!

Ah it's difficult to see the cat :) So lucky your cats like to walk with leashes. When I put the leash on my cat Sam, he suddenly turns into a mop.

Kisses and have a good monday!

  7. We've had rubbish whether here in the UK but it's more of an excuse to stay inside and do crochet or knitting instead of going outside!

Will have to consider cutting the grass at some point but our garden was marshy when I nipped out the other day.

I love your multicoloured hair! Need to do something with mine really....

  8. Yay! Orange Cat! I live in Buffalo & love that place. Sadly, I don't get there very often... BUT this year I had my mom buy me a dozen of their vegan muffins for my birthday! SO. GOOD. I don't know if they advertise them as vegan (they didn't for a long time), but they are! Their huge cookies are vegan too. Again, I haven't been there in a while, so I don't know if they label them as such, but when we ordered the muffins, they assured us that they were. :)

  12. I sat here for a few minutes staring at that cat sign before I saw it too.
You're doing such a great job with your 365 project! Way to go! You're inspiring me. Maybe I'll try it next year :)

  13. I had no idea what was a sign of. Maybe a smiley face. It was only when you pointed out it was a cat that I realised, and I STILL had to stare at it for a good few moments until I spotted it!
