what i wore :: wait, that's not me!

Who is this girl and what is she doing in my house with my cat? It's Astrid and we thought it would be fun for her to do a little outfit post from my usual location. Astrid posted the full "outfit post" over on her blog if you would like to take a look.

Astrid and her mom spent Monday night and part of the day Tuesday with Ivan and I so we decided to take a few fun photos together at our place on Monday and then around Hamilton on Tuesday.
Hanging out with some dolls.
Ever so casually flipping through records.
Holding some typewriters. Don't I look like a giant next to Astrid?! She is so little and cute!
Chatting with Farva.
At White Elephant on Tuesday.
Checking out Needlework for the first time. It is really cute in there and I'm thinking of taking a quilting class because I obviously need another hobby.
I just think this jumping photo is so funny!
Having visitors is really fun for me. Getting out of the house, chatting and checking out new places that I am too nervous to go in alone makes for a good day. Taking photos along the way is pretty fun too.

  4. omg. You two are so cute. And I love your comment about looking like a giant. That is how I feel around 75% of gals even though I'm not that tall. A complex from being a tall kid I guess. Haha

  10. Seeing double this morning before my coffee on Bloglovin'! You two are so cute and here I love the twin Blythe photos and as a record collector I can't resist your "platter party" together. (I saw ads for platter parties in vintage Seventeen Magazines from the '50s.)

I can never figure out how tall bloggers are and it's hard to wonder "can I pull that off?" thinking everyone is super sky high tall.

    1. I'm about 5'7" and I'm not sure how tall Astrid is but I felt about 6 feet tall next to her. So cute!

  11. Looks like a good time. That picture of you and Astrid with the typewriters is the best! The look on your face is just awesome. (Also, when I hear the name Astrid all I can think of is The Office and Michael Scott saying "astird.")

    1. I know! Astrid is super pro! After taking her photo I wouldn't let her take mine because I felt too awkward about my bad posing skills. She is a lovely model.

  25. Please tell Farva I'm pissed. I see him there hanging out with Astrid. It sure doesn't look like he's hissing at her. Not cool my little cat friend, not cool.

    1. Ahahaha! I'll let him know you are very upset with him. I anticipate his response to be a big fat hiss.
I gave Astrid and her mom very strict instructions to completely ignore Farva. That's the way to his heart. He likes the ladies who play hard to get.
