Photos :: More Spring Flowers

I know I already posted some spring blossoms this week but I took that walk around my neighbourhood with my camera and I can't resist sharing some of the pretty flowering trees that I saw.

The last one is my absolute favourite. I wish that tree was in my yard!

I was pretty proud of myself for taking these photos because there were sometimes people across the street or nearby the houses that had pretty trees. I just casually put my camera up to my face and snapped a shot or two. My only fear was that someone was going to think that I was creepily taking photos of people's houses and yell at me. I tried to make it really obvious that it was the trees I was getting photos of in case anyone was paying attention. I made it back home without any uncomfortable confrontations so I was pretty happy about that.

Today is a little more grey than it has been lately but I'm hoping the sun will pop out later so that I can work on my sandal tan while pulling weeds.

  1. Those trees are beautiful and magnolias are my absolute favorite as well! I am planning on planting a magnolia tree in our backyard this year! xxx

  2. Your pictures are so beautiful! It doesn't get all pretty like that in SoFlo, so it's nice to see all your pictures:)

  3. I wanna bring my camera with me more when I go out, but I'm always afraid someone's going to say something.

  4. Oh, man. I always do my utmost to make painfully obvious I'm not trying to photograph a person or their home, etc. I'm so shy and confrontation-avoidant that most of the time I don't take pictures out in public at all unless it's a park or otherwise "expected" area. I think that's something I need to work on, because I sometimes miss out on a great shot.

    Great pictures! Magnolias and Cherry trees are my favourites at this time of the year :)

  6. I would love to be living in your neighbourhood, even better if I had ALL of these trees on my yard. Beautiful photos!

  7. The second and last are what we have outside our apartment. We moved in during winter and hoped that's what they were and sure enough! We're on the second floor and the beautiful tree is just outside our window. Birds love to sit on the tree and our cats love to sit on the windowsill and stare at them. (FYI: Our screens don't open, but we don't keep the windows open more than a few inches usually anyway, just in case.)

  9. I posted photos of spring blossoms on my blog too; I can't get enough of pretty flowers, the more the merrier. :)
    Also, I've had many instances where I feel a bit shy or weird taking photos...I've had people yell things at me or stop and try to get in a conversation. I'm very introverted so it always makes me uncomfortable. Sometimes I get so focused on the photos, though, that I tune the rest of the world out completely, which is a good and bad thing. Anyway, I know exactly what you mean about the weirdness, and congrats for being brave because these photos are lovely. :)
