Photo an Hour :: no tea, no shade

As usual, Kaylah and I both shot a photo an hour last weekend while we were out visiting them. It is so much easier to remember to take your photos when you have someone else who is doing it along with you. Here is a look at the day.

9 am :: On the road. We planned a pretty full day so there was no time for screwing around.
Photobucket
10 am :: First stop, pick up hair dye. Actually this wasn't the very first stop and this is a photo of nail polish so really I should have made up a different caption.
Photobucket
11 am :: Some really pretty blankets at the thrift store. I kind of wish I had have picked up that blue and green one.
Photobucket
12 pm :: I just thought this sign was kind of cute and funny.
Photobucket
1 pm :: Of course a trip to Cleveland requires a visit to the photobooth!
Photobucket
2 pm :: Ivan wanted to look for a drill so we headed to an awesome spot to look for one...and we each ended up finding a bunch of cool stuff!
Photobucket
3 pm :: I spotted this cool little thing that you look through and it shows you where the constellations are. Kaylah and Kevin ended up taking it home for their bookshelf and I'm so happy they did. It was way too cool to leave behind!
Photobucket
4 pm :: Cute Halloween decor!
Photobucket
5 pm :: Watched RuPaul's Drag U and worked on some new lingo to introduce into our everyday lives. Werk!
Photobucket
6 pm :: The boys made some mead while we waited patiently to head out for an evening of rollerskating.
Photobucket
7 pm :: Rollerskating!!
Photobucket
Saturday was such a full, fun day. Rollerskating and air hockey were definitely the highlights and I can't wait to do more skating, including some ice skating this winter! I haven't had ice skates for a lot of years so I really need to pick up a pair sooner than later!

I hope everyone is having a great day!

  3. The constellation doohickey is called a planosphere! They come in different formats, I even have a planosphere app on my phone! I took astronomy in university, and I really loved stargazing and night sky photography. I'm hoping to get out and take some nice starry sky photos once these stupid clouds clear away! Cooler evenings are the best for stargazing, and there is so little light pollution out here :)

  4. I want to learn to skate! I normally fall on my butt every single time, but I always want to be in roller derby as well. I guess I have to learn to skate for that, haha.

  8. Love that sign! I need to get one to set up one the little bit of grass at the end of our street. Dog owners not cleaning up after themselves is one of my pet hates, mainly because I have 2 of my own and I always pick up after them. Looks like a great day xo

  9. I have that constellation tool. Except that particular one is from the National Geographic store & called a stellarscope. I found mine at a thrift store in-box with star maps and everything. It's a pretty cool "toy". I love the picture of the crochet blankets ^.^ Especially the orange and white one. It reminds me of orange creamsicles... The cabling on the blue one is really cool. I need to find out how to do that.

Your photo-an-hour posts are always so colorful and lovely. Thanks for sharing :D

  10. Cleveland is only 40 minutes away from me. I love that place. So many good foodie places and fun things to do. There is actually a website for the PUP campaign. http://wheredoesitgo.weebly.com/ I like how they put bags at the parks and such so that in case you forgot one, there are some there for you to use. Makes having a dog in public much easier!
